📍Turin, 2–3 October 2025
The GISCi National Conference (Italian Group for Cervical Cancer Screening) will take place in Turin on 2 and 3 October 2025. The scientific program will address key challenges and innovations in cancer screening programs, with particular focus on new technological tools, emerging evidence, and the evolution of European recommendations.
Among the scheduled presentations, Paolo Giorgi Rossi will deliver an in-depth talk on risk-stratified screening, developed within the framework of the EUCanScreen Joint Action. His contribution will be part of the ONS–FASO–GISCi joint workshop on 2 October and will provide an update on the current state of the art in Europe and its implications for national screening programs.
The conference will also explore key topics shaping the future of screening, such as the integration of artificial intelligence, self-sampling, HPV genotyping, and the definition of new risk thresholds. Considerable attention will be given to organizational aspects, data governance, and the evaluation of the impact of implemented innovations.
This event offers a valuable opportunity for dialogue among experts, policymakers, and professionals involved in screening programs, with the aim of promoting more effective, sustainable, and personalized approaches.
