Webinar Nutrition Diet and Cancer

On 22 July 2025, IARC and ESMO co‑hosted a 90‑minute webinar titled “Nutrition, Diet, and Cancer”. It was chaired by Dr. Inge Huybrechts (IARC). Featuring speakers such as Dr. Elena J. Ladas (Columbia University), the session covered dietary quality, obesity management, clinical nutrition, and implications for both adult and pediatric oncology. It included scientific updates, practical recommendations, and Q&A dialogue.

The Goal

The IARC-ESMO webinar series aims to provide new perspectives or to present new research, to complement the large variety of educational resources. These are freely accessible from the online learning platform of the IARC-ESMO Learning and Capacity-Building Initiative on Cancer Prevention. The webinar is part of IARC‑ESMO educational efforts in cancer prevention.
