EU Country Cancer Profiles

In July 2025, the OECD and the European Commission published the “EU Country Cancer Profiles 2025”, reports analyzing cancer incidence, mortality, risk factors, and screening coverage for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer across the 27 EU countries.
The profiles, part of the Cancer Inequalities Registry, compare national data with EU averages to identify disparities and intervention priorities.
These documents support the European Beating Cancer Plan, providing tools for targeted prevention policies and improved health system planning.
Aimed at policymakers, health authorities, and researchers, the reports offer a solid foundation to strengthen early diagnosis and cancer care across Europe.
