WHO/Europe organized an event in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) with influencers and bloggers to support the upcoming introduction of the HPV vaccine in 2025. The goal was to spread accurate information about its safety and efficacy, increase social acceptance, and strengthen public health campaigns against cervical cancer. The initiative is part of the global strategy to eliminate cervical cancer and aligns with regional efforts to improve primary prevention through immunization. By combining digital communication and public health, the event aims to accelerate progress towards a cervical cancer-free future.
