Call for experts - European Commission Initiative on Lung Cancer - now published

The European Commission has officially launched a Call for Expression of Interest to join the Working Group of the European Commission Initiative on Lung Cancer (EC-LuC). This important initiative, led by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in collaboration with DG SANTE, aims to develop evidence-based guidelines for lung cancer prevention, screening, and diagnosis, alongside a quality assurance scheme covering the full care pathway.

 

🫁 Who can apply?
The call is open to:

  • Clinical, scientific and technical experts in lung cancer screening, diagnosis, and care

  • Patients and/or caregivers to be appointed as members of the EC-LuC Working Group

Deadline to apply: 31 August 2025 (midnight CET)
