IARC published a methodological document to support regions and countries in developing localized “Cancer Codes” within the broader World Code Against Cancer Framework. These codes aim to provide practical, evidence-based, and culturally relevant recommendations for cancer prevention. The framework enables tailored public health messaging and behavior change strategies using regional data and communication tools. The World Code Against Cancer Framework offers a two-level hierarchy mechanismto systematically review and synthesize the latest scientific insights implemented through Regional Codes Against Cancer.
